Using markers, tissues, cups and water, we got colours to creep and run.
We put dots of colour on the tissue, and then put the tissue into water. The tissue soaked up the water and the colours got soaked up too.
We could see how different colours are made -

purple has red and blue in it,
green has blue and yellow in it,
brown is made of many colours.
