We have a weather stick in our class. It has a thermometer on it to tell how hot or cold the day is, we have a wind kite to tell whether the wind is blowing or not, and roughly how fast it is blowing, and we have a rain gauge to tell how much rain falls during school hours. Each day the class leader (ceannaire) puts out the weather stick, reads it at home time, and fills the weather calendar in the classroom. It is a busy job!
