More signs of Spring
She is also keeping an eye on the Hawthorn tree in her garden to see when the leaves begin to bloom.
That hasn't happened yet, maybe because the weather is so frosty.

First primroses
This is a wild primrose. The primroses have just started to bloom.
The ones in teacher's garden blossomed on Saturday, 16th February.
We can also see purple crocuses. They are so pretty inside.

Hot and Cold, Melting
We found out that the ice-cream and the ice cube that were in the freezer melted when we left them out of the freezer.
The butter and the chocolate did not melt when we left them on the table, so we put them on the radiator.
The butter melted first. The chocolate didn't seem to melt but was really soft when teacher touched it.
Now we understand why some things have to be kept in the freezer, some things in the fridge, and some things in a cool place in the room.

Fun in the Snow
but it's very cold,
It snowed all morning and we were bold....
...without our coats on we ran around,
And saw the white snow on the mucky ground.
What if it snowed every day,
We could have fun whenever we play,
But now that we have our new season, Spring,
I wonder what adventures nature will bring.
