Magnet morning

We had a very interesting morning with magnets.

We had five magnet stations.

The first station investigated what objects would stick to magnets and then they recorded their findings.

The second table investigated how strong different kinds of magnets are.

The next table investigated magnets attracting and repelling each other.

The fourth table investigated what things a magnet would work through. They recorded their findings.

The fifth and last table had a chance to play with magnets and iron filings.
We also learned to keep magnets away from computers and watches because these can be damaged by computers.

It was a very enjoyable morning.

We learned lots about magnets.
